The movie takes place in a research lab and is set in the 1980’s. A young girl who possesses certain clairvoyant powers is being studied by a man named Nyle who runs the facility. The young girl breaks free of her cell and the film swirls into a kaleidoscope of neon madness as she navigates a maze of halls and corridors on her way out of the laboratory. This film has incredible visuals and a very unique storyline. The director pays homage to 80’s VHS culture with his style of directing. The film is a slow burn of style and color.

Beyond the Black Rainbow Review Beyond the Black Rainbow is a 2010 sci-fi/horror film directed by Panos Cosmatos.
